Alisha & Alan
This couple wanted a big party that wasn’t too “wedding-ish”.
Unique aspects: The couple found a cool urban space, went with an industrial theme, added in geometric shapes and softened it with the floral painting on the walls. Alisha says, “The venue said we could paint the walls if we wanted, which really drew me in as that’s not something you come by everyday.”
The best part: Seeing everyone’s reactions for the first time. Alisha says there were “so many beautiful emotions on everyone’s faces, just pure happiness. It was so wonderful being surrounded by family and friends.”
Honeymoon: The newlyweds explored Barcelona, Santorini, Amsterdam and London.
Planning advice: “Don’t put too much pressure on the big day or leading up to it. Have a good wedding planner or someone to keep you on track and take the workload off you.”
